We utilise high-performance Fluoropolymer for the inner insulation of our heating elements. Safety First: The 100% Aluminium Earth Screen
Safety is a critical aspect of our underfloor heating cable construction. Every cable is enveloped in a continuous 100% aluminium foil earth screen. This design is specifically engineered to ensure that if a cable is ever cut or damaged, the system will instantly trip the RCD and power down. This robust configuration ensures our cables meet the most stringent electrical safety approval standards, providing total peace of mind.
Durable Outer Protection Jackets
The outer jacket is designed to provide robust electrical protection and defend the cable against the rigours of site installation. We primarily use a specially formulated PVC for our outer layers; this material is exceptionally tough and resistant to the crushing, cutting, and abrasion forces often encountered during tiling or screeding. While some manufacturers opt for fluoropolymer outer jackets, we prefer PVC because it offers superior durability against the physical stresses of installation, significantly reducing the risk of accidental damage during the building process.
